"WE'VE DONE SO MUCH WITH SO LITTLE FOR SO LONG, WE CAN DO EVERYTHING WITH NOTHING NOW."

Mercer: Brigade is built on community; can you take us through the moment you knew this was the route, rather than a regular photoshoot?
Aaron:

"It was honestly perfect and shoutout to Manolo and Cee for letting us takeover the backyard. Expect more from us soon."

Mercer: Having the community pull their own outfits minutes before the shoot is a perfect embodiment of the thesis, but it also carries a risk. What was the thought process behind it?
Aaron:

"I think a lot of what’s going on in this space is manufactured."

Mercer: You mentioned that "Brigade has always been built from the people around it" - what would you say is the next step? Beyond the photoshoots?
Aaron:

"We got a pop up fitting room tent and tried to be clear that everyone should come with their look in mind."

Mercer: Café Colmado is a staple. Run us through the idea of making it happen in its backyard.

Mercer: What should we expect from Brigade next season?
