The jewelry had its own conversation to hold. Jessica McCormack's Cry Baby pieces; asymmetric drops, a cocktail ring, gold eyes with diamond pupils, all walked the line between surrealist and sensual without tipping into costume. And then there was the engagement ring, which, whether intentionally or not, anchored the whole look with something personal. Fashion is often at its best when it carries a little life inside it.
