Nikki Martinez

Nikki started connecting creatives and facilitating collaborations during the early rise of social media. This work led her into fashion through MTTM, where she handled special projects, pop ups, and community focused PR, helping shape the brand’s cultural presence. She later founded her long running creative agency, The Janes, and went on to work at Retrosuperfuture in New York, eventually becoming Head of Community and PR for the US and helping make eyewear central to fashion collaborations between 2014 and 2019.

During this period she worked closely with artists and brands such as A$AP Rocky, Shane Gonzales, and A-Cold-Wall, Avena Gallagher, Matthew Henson while turning the Soho store into a creative hub for global talent.

After the store closed, she consulted for Diesel from 2019 to 2024 just before the arrival of Glenn Martens and continued advising artists like Kaytranda & Brent Faiyaz and others on visual identity, fashion partnerships, and creative direction. Following a sabbatical spent between Lisbon and Asia, she returned to hands on creative work and now collaborates with Planta Industrial and Boi Angel, Havecooth and Club Vasca focusing on visual direction, styling, and creative development.
