Pray For Paris Is A Renaissance Painting Disguised As A Rap Album

Normally we would try to justify our take, but if we have to explain why this album is a masterpiece that sonically and artistically stands at the level of some Renaissance works, we would already lose the meaning here - because at this point, it is universally known. Some things simply arrive fully formed, carrying a weight that doesn't need to be argued for. Pray For Paris is one of them. The kind of album that doesn't ask you to meet it halfway, because it has already done the work. To dissect it too much would be to miss the point entirely. You either feel it or you don't, and those who do know exactly why it belongs in the same breath as the greats.

January 2026, Paris Fashion Week. In between shows, events and coverage, had a few hours to spend, so headed straight to the Louvre - and the first thing post check in? Before the escalators, before the stairs? Pray For Paris, full volume, out of body experience.
