Maria Koch built a wardrobe where nobody has to pick one identity.

At Paris Fashion Week, 032c presented “Stable”, informed by the Neue Sachlichkeit (New Objectivism) and defined by the tension between control and desire, discipline and decadence. “Stable” is bringing a new womenswear system, bred from Maria’s time spent in competitive riding, one that serves the same purpose as the sport, into everyday wear, as it’s built to give the wearer a sense of freedom of movement while supporting more aspects, almost as if it is the equipment that’s needed to be worn by the practitioner, which is the 032c woman.

Across technical jackets and accessories, all the way to tailoring and shirting, plus gowns, it asks where else that ethos can be applied in our everyday life, as is further explained with Maria’s words: “I wanted to protect that tension while bringing riding into contact with another arena that has always been part of 032c: Berlin culture, the club, creative freedom at the forefront of contemporary production.”

Athleticism is being redefined as we speak by Maria and the team as we speak, and it can’t get more exciting than that! Slides: @pavovuk
